Anti-Stagefright

In this workshop we will bring the annoying stage fright to an only slightly increased temperature. Since people in the spotlight often react with fever-like symptoms,
(palpitations, sweaty palms, shaking, dry mouth), the term stage fright has come into existence. There is performance-enhancing stage fright,
which positively activates the brain and body and there is dysfunctional stage fright, or performance anxiety, which is performance-inhibiting.
People with high self-esteem, are more protected from performance stress. Also, those who have no time or brain capacity free to develop stress from sheer enthusiasm,
are spared from anxiety. But due to excessive perfectionism and a zero-fault tolerance culture, artists are often put under stress and fear of failure .
It is a pity, however, if one sings worse than one actually could because of performance-related stress, for example.
When you let go of excessive performance thinking, singing becomes much more fun. Then you can effortlessly achieve top performances and surpass yourself. In this way,
both the singer and the listener can be "carried away" by the "magical, captivating" singing.

So if you want to enjoy your performances without nervousness or thoughts of criticism, evaluation or failure, improvise announcements off the cuff,
and be eloquent with your audience, this is the course for you. We will work on a confident, convincing appearance and a touching performance.
Love for ourselves, "taking ourselves seriously" and "believing in ourselves" is an important part of it.
Through exercises from vocal rehearsal and acting, you will recognize your strengths and strengthen your self-confidence and authenticity.
You develop courage to be who you are and above all...courage to succeed!
